The Magical Music of Harry Potter West Palm Beach Concert reviews
Not your average DMB Show
I was disappointed in the show, not gonna lie. Most of the songs were from their new album, which isn't a bad thing. They seemed a little disorganized between songs, taking several seconds to decide on what to play next. The big disappointment was the horns. And I LOVED the other 24 shows. We all know The Magical Music of Harry Potter is a JAM band, and that's a big reason why we love them, but the horns decided to jam even when the rest of the group was in tune and playing a set. Their sax player used his clarinet for most of the show, which was a bummer! I'm just a fan of their older work, and Groo Grux is still taking some getting used to. It really took away from many of the songs. The other disappointment was the lack of saxophone. It was still a good show, just wasn't what I am used to seeing with The Magical Music of Harry Potter. I have tix for tonight, so we will see what they turn out next!
